DENTURE CAMPS

The most recent denture camp was conducted on World Oral Heath Day, at the Government General Hospital at Anekal. The designated location was 23 km from The Oxford Dental College.

The program began with educative talks on Oral Hygiene awareness, Nutrition for the Elderly and Denture Maintenance were given, followed by denture screening of geriatric patients.
Eleven edentulous patients selected from the screening were rehabilitated from 28/3/2023 to 31/3/2023 at the Department of Prosthodontics, The Oxford Dental College. A post- insertion checkup was done on 3/4/2023.

The camp was successful as it was highly appreciated by the patients.

Numerous denture camps have been conducted by the Department of Prosthodontics , The Oxford Dental College  in kaggalipura post and attibele to deliver free dentures. The main objective of these camps were to educate, create awareness, and motivate the common man in relation to their oral health by providing  curative services. Patients were screened 15 days prior to the camp.The postgraduate students and staff were accompanied and supported by the dental technician for the laboratory work. Standed operating procedures were followed before commencement of all procedures. Active participation from one and all made these dental camps a huge success.
